Day 1

We will welcome you on arrival to Lilongwe International Airport. After a greeting and a short orientation, we will transfer you to Salima, Senga bay for your boat transfer to Nankoma Island. One of the three Maleri islands on Lake Malawi. You will be staying at the Blue Zebra Island Lodge in luxury safari tents for your first 2 nights. The lodge offers en-suite luxury tented chalets with lake and forest views. The island is pristine with nature. They have kept the nature and added a little luxury for their guests…..a lovely swimming pool, bar and restaurant area, walking trails, kayaks, snorkelling, scuba diving (only available at certain times of the year)

Day 3 - 4

After breakfast you will be transferred back to the mainland by boat and then into the vehicle and off to Liwonde National Park, Mvuu camp/lodge for your next two nights.

Mvuu Camp and lodge overlook the Shire River and often have hippo’s grazing on the riverside and crocodiles sunbathing. This park has an incredible bird life, so if you are a birder then this is your place. The camp and lodge offer safari activities, boat safari, game drives (on request walking safaris) these activities take place in the early morning hours or late afternoon/evening. If you have any special interests do let Kay or your guide know.

Day 5

After breakfast you will be transferred to Cape Maclear, Kayak Africa Base camp for your boat transfer across to the gorgeous Mumbo Island. Mumbo Island is exquisite and is an uninhabited island with hosts Kayak Africa’s Eco lodge. The en-suite safari tents have been built on wooden decks with their own private lake view, some offering a sunrise view and others sunset colours and if you're really lucky you might end up in one that has both views. This island is a Robins Crusoe paradise.

Day 6 - 7

You will be spending your last two nights enjoying this paradise….. You can kick back and read a book relaxing on beach loungers or in a hammock, snorkel or scuba dive in turquoise coloured waters, walk to beautiful viewpoints through indigenous forest or kayak and explore the island. On your last morning, after breakfast the boat would take you back to Cape Maclear and then you would be transferred to Lilongwe International Airport for your flight back home.
